Firestone Complete Auto Care

When replacing my High Pressure Fuel Pump they reused a one-time-use fuel line against GM spec, didn't inspect the follower, and declined to diagnose new codes that showed up while in their possession under warranty. I've typically had great service here but not on this occasion.

These guys are great. Called to make an appointment to replace my battery. They were about to accommodate me day-of. Highly recommend planning to grab food next door or hit the mall while you wait. I dropped off early, planning to wait a few hours. They got me in and out in a little over an hour!

Made an appt for Sunday morning. I was on time and had to wait vs drop off. I sat for 1.5 hrs until they took my car in. I was told they were short staffed but not until I was checked in and sitting down, and the guy said it and was off into the shop so I couldn’t respond. I didn’t expect the length of time I waited…1.5 hrs! Nobody ever came in to follow up. After another 1.5 hrs for them to do the work, all I was offered was 10% off and a quick apology. Luckily I had a 15% coupon. My complaint is that if you are short staffed, do not make your customers pay the price by making them wait for hours. Fix the staffing problem. And acknowledge the long wait. I think it’s inexcusable.

Bad news about my truck but it was handled very well by professionals. They were quick, thorough, & honest. I was charged 1/8th for the diagnostic that I was charged just last week at a different shop (Tuffy). Easy to make an online appointment. Communication was extremely good. Definitely recommend.

5/27/26 Firestone in Portage, MI. I had a wonderful first time experience. I had an inspection done on a vehicle to check for what I thought was break issues. Jeremy and Tim were great to work with. Both were very kind, listened and explained everything in a way that I understood. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend them. Thank you again Jeremy and Tim!!
